2009 race registration is now open! Early bird registration ends May 31st.
Looking for another race before the Indy AR? The Lafayette (Indiana)Adventure Race has returned for 2009 and is scheduled for July 11, 2009. Directed by our longtime racing friends Matt VanHoosier and Matt Jourdan. And the Planet Adventure Urban Race is schedule for August 15th in Indianapolis. The third annual "no skirts allowed adventure race" (Indiana's Womens only adventure race) is scheduled for October 10th 2009, also in Indianapolis.
2009 race date: We're scheduled for September 19th, 2009. We will be returning to Eagle Creek Park for our 10th anniversary race. Starting time:Targeting 8 to 10am Saturday morning.
Thanks to all for a great race. Our 2008 donation was in excess of $11,000.
Please visit the race history pages to see what were about. The Indianapolis Adventure Race is a 100% charity event. Through 2008 we have donated over $51,000 to various charities and we will continue this tradition in 09.
100% of the proceeds from 2009 will benefit:

The Indianapolis Adventure Race is a team event that combines road mountain biking, canoeing, trail running/hiking, orienteering/navigation, rope work and surprise mystery events. Teams consist of three: coed, all male and female. All team members must start and finish together, covering the entire course together. The actual distances, course layout and order of events will not be disclosed until race day.
- Race Divisions: 3 person co-ed, all-male, all-female
- Race Field: 50 Teams
- Date: September 19th, 2009
- Entry Fee: $75 per person through May 31st, $90 through August 7th and $105 through close of registration, September 10th .
- Start time and location: Who knows? Time will be announced this summer.
