Thanks to all for a great race. A record 54 teams enjoyed the new Horizon Church/ Camp Indy venue and were first time off pavement mountain bikers in Ft Harrison State Park. See you all next year.

Please visit the race history pages to see what were about. The Indianapolis Adventure Race is a 100% charity event. We have donated over $40,000 to various charities and we will continue this tradition in 08.

Indianapolis Adventure Race, version 9.0
"one of the longest running adventure races in the midwest"

100% of the proceeds from 2008 will benefit: the American Brain Tumor Association and the National Alliance on Mental Illness.

The Indianapolis Adventure Race is a team event that combines road mountain biking, canoeing, trail running/hiking, orienteering/navigation, rope work and surprise mystery events.  Teams consist of three: coed, all male and female.  All team members must start and finish together, covering the entire course together.  The actual distances, course layout and order of events will not be disclosed until race day.

  • Race Divisions: 3 person co-ed, all-male, all-female
  • Race Field: 50 Teams
  • Date: September 6, 2008
  • Entry Fee: $75 per person through May 31st, $90 through July 31st and $105 through close of registration, August 29th .
  • Start time and location will be announced.
